Born and raised in San Angelo, Texas, Araceli felt the call to ministry in her early elementary years. Upon graduating from Cornerstone Christian School, Araceli continued her education in San Antonio, receiving a three-year diploma from Christ Mission College, formerly known as LABI – Latin American Bible Institute. She completed her fourth year of college and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Church Ministries from Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas, graduating summa cum laude. As a college graduate, she worked in many different ministry capacities and began traveling as a speaker for special services, conventions, and conferences. She married her husband, Aaron, in 2009; they have since welcomed home three boys – Aiden, Ben, and David. Araceli and Aaron currently serve as the Small Group Ministry leaders at their local church in San Antonio. Her passions include using her gift of sharing God’s Word and mentoring the next generation of leaders. In her free time, she enjoys exploring her city with her family, browsing through HomeGoods and drinking lots and lots of coffee.
